Olympic Winter Games
Vancouver, Canada (VANOC)
Since 2007, Contemporary International has provided the Event Services function for VANOC. Embedded in Venue Management, the VANOC Event Services team is instrumental in the daily planning for Games-time operations.
VANOC initially requested that Event Services support all competition venues. VANOC subsequently determined that Event Services support was required at all non-competition venues as well, to ensure consistency in planning and delivery of the guest experience.
Later, Contemporary International’s role was expanded to plan, staff, and implement the Asset Protection solution for VANOC. Beginning in September, Contemporary International has been providing trained and certified security guards across all competition and non-competition venues 24 hours a day.
